ROBOTIC MOWER CHARGING GUIDE
Robot mower won’t charge
A charging fault does not automatically mean the battery has failed. Start with the safe external checks below and record any exact error message before resetting the mower.
Check in this order
- Confirm the charging station has mains and low-voltage power.
- Read and record the charging-station status light or app message.
- Switch the mower off, then clean only the accessible mower and station charging contacts as the manufacturer permits.
- Check that the station is level and the mower docks squarely with both contacts meeting correctly.
- Look for damaged cables, loose plugs, corrosion, water ingress or impact damage without opening sealed equipment.
- Run the model-specific diagnosis before ordering a battery, power supply or charging board.
Stop and use a qualified repair route if
The battery is swollen, hot, leaking or physically damaged; wiring is exposed; water has entered electrical areas; the power supply is damaged; or diagnosis would require opening a sealed battery, charger or safety system.
Narrow down the actual cause
Select the exact mower model and charging symptom to separate station power, contacts, docking, battery and internal-electronics causes.
