Step-by-step installation

Step 1. Plan the work area and choose a charging-station position with reliable power and a clear operating approach.
Step 2. Install and power the charging station, charge the mower, then install/open Automower Connect and pair the mower.
Step 3. Enable/configure EPOS. Depending on the model and market this can use supported cloud correction or a reference station/EPOS hardware.
Step 4. Use appDrive/map tools to create the work area by driving the mower around the lawn and placing boundary points.
Step 5. Add stay-out zones and transport paths where required, save the map, set cutting height/schedule, then test docking and coverage.

Before the first unattended mow

Confirm blades and underside are clear and guards/covers are fitted.
Verify charging and docking repeatedly.
Check boundaries/no-go zones beside roads, water, drops, steps and public areas.
Supervise the first full mowing cycle and correct any unsafe or unreliable area before normal operation.
